About
Meet Christie.
Christie is a registered nurse who has been practicing in Calgary for 16 years. In addition to a decade of acute and community mental health experience, Christie has practiced as a nurse in medical acute care – including intensive care and emergency departments. Christie completed her masters degree in Nursing in 2016, and is a certified clinical counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Christie has advanced training and certification in family therapy, EMDR, mindful self-compassion, Perinatal Mental Health, and DBT. She lives in Calgary with her young family and enjoys skiing, cycling, sewing, and exploring new neighborhoods with her kids on her days off.
