Why The Newly
Care that helps people get better, faster.
Substantial medical evidence shows that when clinicians come together in a bio-psycho-social-spiritual interdisciplinary treatment model and provide care through an evidence-based intensive outpatient program, clients get better faster — and the faster they improve, the significantly more likely they are to return to work and a healthy lifestyle.
The Newly Institute is spearheading a paradigm shift in Canadian healthcare by establishing a network of purpose-built mental health clinics across the country. Founded by a team of medical experts who identified a gap in the mental health programs available to Canadians, the Institute shaped its philosophy of rapid access and resolution from the insights of psychiatrists, psychologists, and senior healthcare leaders. Our Edmonton clinic delivers that same model of care.
